This blog is a petition.
It exists to collect the voice of Malaysians so that together we can tell the people that make the decisions to bring the iPhone 3G OFFICIALLY to Malaysia.
Our purpose is to collect as many reasons and support from you and bring it to the attention of Celcom, Maxis, U Mobile and DiGi in the hopes that at one of them will put their money where their mouth is and bring the iPhone 3G OFFICIALLY to Malaysia.
If you want your celco to make available the iPhone 3G officially here in Malaysia, voice it out! Email your demands and we will publish it in this blog. It doesn’t have to be long, it doesn’t have to be well written, all we want is to gather your voice. The email can be as simple as – “Celcos, bring the iPhone to Malaysia!” or “I support iPhone 3G for Malaysia”. What’s important is you voice it out and let them know that we want the iPhone 3G officially here!
We hope to gather a strong, unified voice. A voice so strong that it would be ridiculous for the celcos to ignore. A voice so strong that at least one celco will be smart enough to listen and give us actually what we want.

I support reasonable priced iPhone 3G with reasonable plan in Malaysia. Or a cracked iPhone 3G that works with any telcos.
SoyaCincau says [080711/1648]: Hello Afik, the objective here is to garner support to bring the iPhone 3G to Malaysia via official channels. Of course it’ll be easy to get the device via grey imports and all that but what’s the point?
If Malaysia wants to be a developed nation her people have to start thinking like citizens in developed country. In this instance we would like to request the celcos here to bring the iPhone 3G to Malaysia officially. So as consumers we can all enjoy the benefits that come with proper aftersales support.
We agree with you that if the iPhone 3G were to be made available in Malaysia via a local celco, the price of the wonder device will have to be reasonable and so to the plan that it’s bundled with.

Hi, I support and have signed the partition. Yes I would like a reasonable priced iPhone 3G with reasonable plan in Malaysia.
I want the whole Apple experience not some homebrew cracked or hacked iPhone.

Hye soyacincau. I want to buy iphone in USA. Is it possible to use it in Malaysia? Coz I heard that we have to unlock it before we use iphone here. Can it still be used if we unlocked it? Thanks.
