Over 400 petitions and growing!

iPhone3GforMalaysia has amassed over 400 petitions to date!

Over 400 Malaysians believe that our local telcos should work their asses off to bring the iPhone 3G here officially.

Come 22 August eager beavers in 20 countries will be getting their iPhone 3G as the second wave of launches hits.

Disappointingly Malaysia is not listed in these 20 lucky countries.

We wonder what will it take, what will we need to do to convince the CMOs and CEOs of Maxis, Celcom, DiGi and U Mobile to finally listen to their customers and bring the iPhone 3G to Malaysia.

The festive season and MNP are just around the corner and our fingers are crossed in hopes that one of these telcos will breakout and make the announcement that all 400 of us and maybe even more have been wanting to hear.

Maxis, Celcom, DiGi, U Mobile – the ball’s in your court. Pick it up and do something!

To the 400 (maybe more) over iPhone 3G hopefuls out there – congratulations and thank you all for sharing your voice with us!

Check out the names of those who believe that our local telcos should work hard to bring the iPhone 3G officially to Malaysia here

  20. I think the reason why our telcos reluctant to bring in Apple is because, Apple want quite a big chunk from the monthly revenue.

And somemore Malaysia is heaven to ‘under water’ stuff such as iPhone. Why wait Apple if you can buy it somewhere else, with no string attached

  21. I just got my iPhone from SG for just SGD507 with monthly plan of SGD40++, luckily my relative is using that plan and I just bought the phone over for around RM1200….yeah!!!

  23. Hi, Stunning news. I just heard the news that Maxis will offer the 3G iPhone from March with at something like RM1899 for the RM150 plan.

What more, for Blackberry users can trade-in for free!

The plan includes a subscription for Maxis music downloads that get me unlimited music downloads from their music portal!!!

    I can’t wait.

  24. Maxis is bringing in iPhone. It’s going to be a sweet deal. Be on the lookout. It’s very very soon…not a rumour, that’s all I can say for now.

    It’s finally here!!!

  25. Are you sure? RM 1899 with RM 150 plan. Sure got 2 years contract lah.

Sure Maxis will give free unlimited music?

  26. it’s finally lunching…….. pre-booking at maxis website or walk in to any branch’s
